Troubleshooting
Display

Display

Most display problems are fixed in GameSettings.exe (the resolution/graphics config tool in your LxudRO folder). Use it instead of setup.exe, which can corrupt settings.

White screen when starting the game

Common on Windows 10 64-bit machines (often MSI/Asus) with audio-enhancement software.

  1. Uninstall audio enhancers such as Nahimic or SonicMaster (Control Panel → Programs).
  2. Reboot.
  3. Launch the game again.

Stuck in fullscreen / can't switch to windowed

  1. Open GameSettings.exeuncheck Full Screen → save.
  2. If a file named dinput.dll exists in your folder, rename it to dinput.dll.bak.
  3. Don't launch with setup.exe — use the normal game launcher.

Text & buttons too small (high-res laptops)

  1. Right-click GameStart.exePropertiesCompatibility tab.
  2. Click Change high DPI settings.
  3. Enable Override high DPI scaling behavior → set to System (Enhanced).
  4. Apply and relaunch. (You can also raise the in-game resolution in GameSettings.exe.)

Game window too small / background distortion

  1. Set a proper resolution in GameSettings.exe that matches your monitor.
  2. Toggle between windowed and fullscreen to refresh the renderer.

Mouse stuck, jittery, or "mouse freedom" issues

  1. In GameSettings.exe toggle the mouse freedom / lock cursor option.
  2. Try windowed mode.
  3. Update your mouse drivers and disable any third-party cursor/overlay tools.

Screenshots come out grey or distorted

  1. Switch the client to windowed mode before taking screenshots.
  2. Change the screenshot format in GameSettings if available; this is a known quirk with some GPU/renderer combos.

Zoom in/out not working

Check that camera zoom is enabled in your settings and that no UI mod is overriding the zoom keys; use the zoom controls/commands permitted on the server.
